Give Kids the World Fundraiser with Magical Mouse Schoolhouse

Hi, friends! Jodi Whisenhunt of Magical Mouse Schoolhouse and Magical Blogorail Yellow is helping out a very worthy cause and invites you to join her!

Give Kids the World hosts kids with life-threatening or terminal illnesses & their families and makes wishes come true for them at Walt Disney World and the surrounding area. The Walt Disney Company actively gives of their time and resources to this great organization:

  • Walt Disney Imagineers helped design and build the facility.
  • Disney Cast Member VoluntEars share many hours of their time with the children and staff.
  • Walt Disney World Resort hotels host families when the GKTW Village occupancy is overflowing.

A special group that includes 3 Disney Moms Panelists has raised over $28,000 for GKTW since 2010, and is trying to reach a goal of $15,000 for this year alone. A minimum donation of $10 from you between now and September 26 could make a big difference. It could also earn you entry into a giveaway offered by Magical Mouse Schoolhouse!

Donations can be made directly at First Giving: http://www.firstgiving.com/fundraiser/DisneyFansGKTW/2012

Whether or not you're interested in the contest, please consider supporting GKTW. A simple $25 donation will cover unlimited ice cream service for one child and his or her family for their entire week-long stay; $50 provides a welcome basket; $75 enables the Gift-giving Fairy to deliver gifts to each child in the family every day of their stay; $100 brings Christmas (with Santa AND snow) to Florida every Thursday!

For more information about GKTW, please visit their website. Big thanks to the Disney Fans Give Kids the World Fundraiser - #DisneyFansGKTW group for their fundraising efforts!
