Disney Announces Details for Epcot's 30th Anniversary Celebration


Yesterday Disney released details about the event's being held at Epcot for the park's 30th anniversary celebration. Guests will be able to attend presentations that have been but together by D23, Disney's official fan club. There is no extra cost to attend the presentations, they will be included in your park admission, but seating will be limited.

At Epcot's World Showplace you can attend the following Epcot history presentations.
1:00 - 2:00 pm - Designing the Future - Past and Present - a panel of Imagineers remembers 30 years of building tomorrow!
4:30  - 6:00 pm - Epcot: How it Changed the World with Marty Sklar
6:30 - 8:00 pm - Epcot: How it Changed the World with Marty Sklar

There will also be a special anniversary moment at 3:00 pm at the American Gardens Theater. It will feature appearances from Disney leaders as well as performances by Mariachi Cobra and Voices of Liberty.  There will be limited seating for this event as well.

The October 1 presentation of IllumiNations: Reflections of Earth will have a special anniversary tag to end the day's celebrations.
