discussed what
former WDW attractions we would bring back and why. For me, it was an
opportunity to write about something I feel strongly about - the increasing lack
of Hollywood in Disney's Hollywood Studios - but also to tell readers how
visiting WDW as a kid impacted who I am as an adult. And reading everyone else's
posts was a fun trip down memory lane as we remembered the attractions of
yesterday - many of which helped us fall in love with WDW in the first
place!"
Paula of The Magical Mouse Pad says, "My favorite post of the year was "sharing our favorite Magic Kingdom land".
It's my favorite because the Magic Kingdom is my love of Disney World. It's
the first park that was built, and the first park that I went to. All my
memorable Disney World experiences, good and bad, have happened in that park.
It's my happy place; my laughing place. It's also the one place on property
where the presence of Walt Disney can be felt. He's in the attractions, the
theme, the details, and the perfection that is Walt Disney World."
Rosanne of The Disney Point says, "When I was relatively new to the Magical Blogorail, I joined a special
edition loop. We picked our favorite Disney haiku's from the Mouse of Zen and
one quickly jumped out at me. With this post, I got to relive the best day of my life and reflect on how Disney plays a role in many of the important moments in my life."
